Nearly 1,200 Democrats Seek to Represent State at Democratic National Convention: Caucus Sites Designated for Jan. 12 Selection Process

COLUMBUS –The thrill of a Democratic victory in 2004 has nearly 1,200 passionate presidential supporters competing to represent the state at the Democratic National Convention this July in Boston.

The party will select 91 Congressional District Level delegates and 16 alternates on Monday, January 12, at the 18 caucuses being conducted across the state. The Ohio Democratic Party received 1,175 declarations of candidacy forms from voters committed to support their choice for president.

The number of delegates each presidential candidate will earn is based on the results of the March 2 Democratic Presidential Primary Election.

The caucuses begin at 7 p.m. Doors to the locations open at 6 p.m. Below is a list of caucus locations by Congressional District.
